So satellite radio is going down. It looks like it could go bankrupt and this is too bad, because I’m a subscriber. Yes, I listen to Howard Stern, the NFL, and NPR. The product is great. Hey Mr. Karmazin, don’t let the company fall. The technology and original programming are great. I have an idea: Let Apple buy XM/Sirius. They have the mac, ipods, and the iphone… and everyone has them…including myself. Apple just kicks ass when it comes to designing hardware and software. Lets face it, Sirius’ hardware sucks. Apple could improve the technology and propel SIRIUS/XM’s service by introducing it to its ITUNES service…or something along those lines. Satellite radio would not only be more popular, Apple would bring more credibility to it, and the new Apple-Sirius brand would be sought after more so in the automobile industry. Just think, the next car you buy would come with GPS/Apple-Sirius Radio/Itunes-music, video, books, lectures…you can’t get lost, you’ll be entertained by original programming ( i.e.: Howard Stern, NFL, Nascar, Oprah) and you’ll be able to purchase the music (and everything else) you hear on the fly and download it to you car/iphone. The iphone Sirius/XM app is only the begining. It’s going to happen or someone else will pick up on this idea…. just contact me when you realize this is the way to go …and give me a little piece of the pie. Got work at 9am. Later.
