Today was car day. I bought my son a used Mitsubishi from a guy who was trying to re-coop the payoff from his ex-wife’s car. She apparently had a boyfriend that smoked and he just wanted the car out of his life. We traded cash for car and headed directly to the tire store for some new tread. Then it was on to Pep Boys for floor mats, wiper blades and air freshener. It’s needed air freshener. After scratching several scents we passed on the new car smell and leather and settled for pure and simple pine. Next stop, home for a more thorough inside cleaning. We scrubbed and wiped and found lots of loose change under the seats before we vacuumed. Finally a stop at the car wash for sparkly clean finish.
Monday I’ll finish up with the paperwork as we head down another fork in the road.
